Sarah Kresser

Early College Degree Program Manager, Community College of Vermont

Sarah has worked in education in Vermont her entire professional career and has worked at the elementary, high school and college levels. She holds a Vermont Special Educator license and Reading Specialist endorsement. Throughout her many years working at the college level, Sarah taught part-time in the Psychology Department and full-time in the Education Department at VTSU-Lyndon. She also worked in the Academic Support and Counseling centers at Lyndon. Currently, as a member of the Community College of Vermont’s Secondary Education Initiatives’ team, Sarah works primarily with high school students pursuing post-secondary opportunities in high school. As the Early College Degree Program Manager, she oversees the Free Degree program, which enables Vermont students who complete Early College at CCV, to earn a free associate degree a year after they graduate from high school. This program is a gamechanger for Vermont students and Sarah loves traveling around the state spreading the word about this amazing opportunity to Vermont educators, students, and families.
